About us

We are Sean and Heather Gilliland. We were married in 2005 and vowed to live a life full of travel. When we had our daughter we didn't want that to stop. We wanted to raise our child with the knowledge that only travel can give you. Add in our goofy dog Minnie and our family is now complete.

Like the rest of the world, the pandemic took us to our knees. We sat at home looking at the world through the same four walls day in and day out. Sean's company closed the office and had him permanently working from home.  Heather's business was forced to adapt to the online world too.   We took our daughter out of preschool.  We also lost our two senior dogs during that time.  It was a rough year, but we were very lucky and had our health.

We have always looked at dreams as something you don't wait for. You take action on them.  When Heather wanted to be an actress, she did it. When Sean wanted a promotion, he worked till he got it.  When we wanted to travel overseas, we saved and booked the trips. When we wanted to move, we did (quite a bit!).  Then when we discovered traveling in an RV was a fun option, we got a small travel trailer and did it!.

Now let's go to August 2020.  We were at our wit's end with sitting at home. We saw others in the RV community out there safely traveling.  We decided we wanted to do that! But we took it to the next level.  We also saw an opportunity to pay off all our debt. Yup, We sold our home. It was the BEST feeling sending a big check to the student loan company and the credit card company.  BYE DEBT!  We got a larger Travel Trailer (one within our means) and moved in.

Now here we are, working and living from the road. We have seen so much and we are excited to share it with you.  But most of all we are hoping to inspire you to not wait for your dreams. Take action NOW, because, as we like to say, NOW WILL DO!   It really is the best time.
